After an extensive career as an educator, consultant, and business owner, Ann Votta is now concentrating on memoir and travel writing. Her background includes fifteen years as a Professor of Early Childhood Education, twenty years as a nationally recognized human resource and work/life consultant, and ten years in retail as owner of an antiques and interiors business on Martha's Vineyard. She lives in Sarasota, Florida with her husband Alan.
Ann was born in Mount Vernon, New York and spent most of her childhood in Yonkers, New York. She lived a good part of her adult life in the Boston, Massachusetts area and raised her children, David Vincola and Leigh Vincola in Brookline, Mass. They now live in Las Vegas, Nevada and Providence, Rhode Island respectively.
Ann's first book was entitled "Reunited: When the Past Becomes a Present", a memoir about reconnecting with her high school sweetheart, Alan Votta, after fifty-four years! They married in 2010.
